Dear visitor, hello and welcome to gravimedimotion.
I'm truly glad to see you here!
My name is Nelli, and I am a movement therapist specializing in gravity meditation (with meditative consciousness immersion and a sense of gravitational force, gravity + meditation + motion = gravimedimotion).
The focus and foundation of my sessions revolve around working with movement through the nervous system.
gravimedimotion approach to body therapy
The thing is, over time, the body becomes rigid. This is not only due to insufficient physical activity, but there's also a concept you might be familiar with - psychosomatics. It's not necessarily a bodily symptom of a specific illness. The emotional reserves we don't fully experience tend to manifest in the body. Consequently, due to stress, the body becomes rigid. Any tension or spasm in our body is an imprint of our psyche. Therefore, the body is an extension of the mind. This is another reason why engaging with the body is important.
Let's return to the essence of our sessions. I teach you to feel gravity during meditative movements, which phenomenally enhances sensitivity and releases a significant amount of tension in your body. The only necessity is time. Everyone progresses at different paces; you've accumulated tension in your body over years, so time is needed for substantial changes.
As you begin to sense the force of gravity, we start moving. Slow, small-amplitude movements. These two aspects, in particular, revive your body's sensitivity while simultaneously inducing relaxation. This lays a strong foundation for further growth—strong, reliable, sensitive—where there's no room for violence towards the body or injury. Gradually, over time, we can move towards strength and coordination. It's a process; changes come gradually, not all at once. All you need to do is relax and find pleasure in getting to know yourself through movement. Such sessions will bring true transformation to your body. You won't be dependent on exercises or workouts anymore because you'll experience long-term effects.
I'd like to highlight another aspect of my sessions - you won't be sweating over the results; you'll feel a pleasant process in which you'll derive pleasure from movement and the sensations within your body. You'll enjoy the journey rather than focusing solely on the destination. Load will increase almost imperceptibly. I invite you to experience bodily sensations through movement—sensations that arise from within, from your finely tuned receptors—not from repetitive exercises. The body gradually organizes itself as needed. This requires time, relaxation, trust in me, and an attitude of enjoyment and embracing the process of movement. I teach slowing down and savoring every cellular sensation of movement. Over time, your muscle tone will be reprogrammed. Where there was excess, there'll be less; where there was deficiency, there'll be more. Your deep muscles will activate (periarticular), while the larger muscles will finally exhale, letting go of tension. I have a holistic approach to the body; in every movement practice, the whole body is engaged. No matter what we do, even raising your arms, I teach you to do it with your ENTIRE BODY.
What are my classes like
You shouldn't expect following from my classes:
-
Abdominal crunches.
-
High-intensity loads from the very beginning.
-
Classic fitness with a "faster-higher-stronger" mentality.
-
Chasing after results like six-pack, muscle gain.
-
Load based on quantitative repetitions or increased pace.
-
Sweating so much that you need to catch your breath and recover at the end of the session.
-
Uncontrolled stretching or splits.
-
Pursuit of amplitude in movements.
-
Comparing yourself with others based on results.
In my classes I rather focus on following aspects:
-
Dissolving yourself in movement and time.
-
Finding pleasure in movement.
-
Enjoying the process.
-
Slowing down, slowing down, and slowing down again.
-
Relaxing.
-
Moving with ease and pleasure.
-
Learning to listen to yourself, your body, your pace, and rhythms without comparing yourself to others.
Strength, coordination, and balance will come to you unnoticed, in the necessary and natural pace for you. This will be a solid internal support within you for an extended period - something that cannot be taken away.
Even if you skip a week of practice, this support in your body will remain; you won't need to rush to have more sessions or exercises to maintain yourself. Instead, it will be different: a true qualitative core/support within you that comes through feeling yourself and slowing down. This forms the basis and foundation on which everything else is built, just like when building a house from bricks.
What else to expect?
What else can you expect from my studio classes?
-
For those interested, I offer the possibility of standing on yoga nails (full standing not mandatory; the procedure itself is pleasant and beneficial).
-
Constructive resting position. My favorite! In these poses, the body relaxes maximally, joints are unloaded, and your head and body simply forget everything because it's so enjoyable. You simply remain in such a pose, resting; some might even fall asleep. It's a wonderful reset for each of your cells. Bliss for body and soul. These states are perfect for transitioning to body-oriented movement like Feldenkrais or simply being in meditation. These constructive rest position can also serve as a wonderful start, continuation, or conclusion to a session.
-
The atmosphere in my sessions is conducive to achieving the desired state: time dissolves, and you forget about everything. I use special music, lighting, and sometimes aromatherapy. You'll forget you came for movement; you'll think you came to relax. This uniqueness, this zest, and enjoyment all happen simultaneously throughout the session because it's true; the session brings rest and pleasure to both body and soul.
-
Quality equipment – as we work on the floor, mats are an important component. I've taken care of this; the mats in the studio are of the highest quality, very comfortable, and large-sized. Franklin balls, which are delightful and effective to work with.

There's the opportunity to try olfactory meditation. This is when we engage with the scent of pure essential oil solely through the olfactory pathway (nasal receptors), immersing ourselves in sensations on a physical, mental, and emotional level. We experience feelings, frontal lobes activate, and access to the unconscious is obtained. Mental well-being improves. Alongside olfactory meditation, I also use:
-
Art therapy. I love immersing the state in scents through colors.
-
Meditation with Tibetan singing bowls.
You can read more about different kinds of meditation in the section Services.
